What is “Grid Theory” and why is it important to web design?
The Grid Theory helps to arrange elements on the web page it’s based on the principles of golden ratio and helps to improve the aesthetics of the page layout. As the name suggests, grid theory involves dividing the page into grids – they help with planning where to place different elements and blocks so that they maintain the right proportion in the page. It is important in the web design because as a result of using grids we can easily create a web page that is pleasing and aesthetics to the viewer.

Bread and Butter Layouts are the 3 most commonly used layouts configurations: left-column Navigation, right column Navigation and three column Navigation.
